There is no age limit for going to school.
Of course, we do admit that the earlier you start school the better.
However, not everyone who gets the opportunity to start school and not to talk about complete it.
Though an education is a right, in our part of the world it comes as a priviledge.
….now that has been enjoyed by Madam Elizabeth Yamoah.
At 60-years-old, she is sitting an exam with other candidates young enough to be her children and grandchildren or by some accounts, great grandchildren.
Madam Elizabeth Yamoah is now writing her Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) with other 500,000 plus candidates.
To study for the exam, she enrolled at Agona Odoben Presbyterian JHS.
By the close of day on Friday, Madam Elizabeth Yamoah would have completed her basic education and ready for whatever is next in her life.
She is already at the retirement age of 60 years old but who said we only go school to secure a job?
Good luck to Madam Elizabeth Yamoah as she writes her remaining six papers.
