Sarkodie has released a new song, Gimme Way, featuring Prince Bright.

In the song, Sarkodie addressed an alleged fake award scheme which he was involved in.

Sarkodie and some celebrated Ghanaians including Berla Mundi, Natalie Fort, DJ Black, Nathaniel Attoh and many others, were presented with an award titled  “Global Blueprint Excellence Award” by a man identified as Kwame Owusu Fordjour (Dr UN).

The awards ceremony was reportedly held on August 28, 2020, at Alisa Hotel in Accra.

Sarkodie, however, indicated in his new song that he thought he was a hard guy until ‘Dr UN’ gave him an empty bottle as an award.

He also stated that attending the awards ceremony was not worth it, and that he could have used that time to make love to his wife, Tracy.

Sarkodie’s statements in the song have generated a lot of reactions on Twitter, as people are excited that he addressed the issue regarding the alleged fake award that he received.

Others also stated that they are expecting a reply from ‘Dr UN’
