It is still the preliminary stages of the 2020 National Science and Maths Quiz.

While a number of schools are advancing to the next stage of the competition, others are also falling off the journey.

In one of the Northern Zone preliminary contests, St. Francis Xavier Junior Seminary had a face off with Tamale Girls’s SHS and Zamse SHTS.

From the very start of the contest, St. Francis Xavier Junior Seminary had a clear lead.

The other two schools had nothing on them expect when it came to the problem of the day when Zamse SHTS tied with at a score of 7 out of 10 points.

However, that was nowhere near enough to threaten St. Francis’ early lead.

They ended the competition with 49 points ahead of Tamale Girls’s SHS and Zamse SHTS who had 24 and 21 points, respectively.
