The National Democratic Congress (NDC) launched their manifesto for the 2020 December elections on September 7, 2020, at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
The NDC’s manifesto which has been tagged by the party as ‘People’s Manifesto’, came with a lot of promises.
Notable of the promises they made include: increasing maternity leave to 4 months, 7 days for paternity leave, expansion of professional legal education, legalisation of okada, among others.
The promises made by the NDC in their manifesto got Ghanaians talking, as some took to social media to share their views on the manifesto.
While some were excited by what they heard, others were not convinced by the NDC’s promises, indicating that they failed to fulfill their previous manifesto promises when they were in government.
Some also indicated the promises which have convinced them to vote for the NDC in the 2020 elections.
