Ghanaian footballers were very influential for their respective clubs in some crucial games of the 2019/20 season.
Even though a lot of Ghanaian players in Europe did not feature in a lot of games for their respective clubs, the few who were given the opportunity to play, made their time on the pitch worthwhile.
Most of them did not rack up a lot of numbers in terms of goals and assists, but their little contribution showed how important they can be for their clubs if they are given more game time.
The only Ghanaian player who had an outstanding 2019/20 season is Black Stars captain Andre Ayew.
Ayew was the best Ghanaian playmaker in Europe last season. He provided 7 assists for Swansea City.
