When Kuami Eugene won his Artiste of the Year Award at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, he received congratulatory messages from a lot of people.

Among them was the gospel musician and founder of The Rockhill Church, Sonnie Badu.

Sonnie Badu called Kuami Eugene “son” when congratulating him for his incredible win.

While Kuami Eugene was appreciative of the post, Gospel singer and radio presenter Kwame OB Nartey was the third person catching feelings about the whole thing.

Kwame told Sonnie Badu to stop acting like a ‘Don papa’ and focus on helping the many loyal sons who need his favor to also break out onto the music scene.

According to Kwame, he has ‘neglected them and praising Kuami Eugene’ instead.

Without calling out names, Sonnie Badu sent a cautionary note to those who are coming for him.

“This year will be my 26th year in ministry, yes I started very young. I have survived storms, I mean global ones,” he posted on Instagram touting his extended experience in ministry.

Advising them, he said “use your airtime/credit wisely.. secondly, before you wage war against anyone, check your spiritual level because you could be treading on dangerous grounds that can close all your doors.”

For his last piece of advice he said “don’t seek for platforms, seek for relationships, and when you get close, learn to serve.”
