MOG Music at the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards

MOG Music, born Nana Yaw Boakye, is a Ghanaian gospel artiste, songwriter and pastor.

He was named Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2020 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). MOG beat competition from Joe Mettle, Kuami Eugene, KiDi and King Promise to win the award.

MOG started his music career as a member of the mass choir of the Royalhouse Chapel International, and went on to head the music department of the church.

He is signed to the Royal Records record label.

Studio Projects

MOG Music released his first album, New Wine, on March 28, 2018. He later released his second album, Better Me, on October 15, 2018.

On October 8, 2020, he released an EP titled Xperience with Love.

MOG Music’s well-known songs include Hallelujah, You Are Great, Be Lifted and Elohim off the Better Me album, Making It Big featuring Sarkodie and Fakye.


Performances and Collborations

MOG Music has collaborated and performed with a number of renowned gospel musicians including Joe Mettle, Nii Okai, Ohemaa Mercy, KingzKid, Danny Nettey, Francis Amo Denzel Prempeh, Pastor Uche Agu, Ron Kenoly and Michael Stuckey.


Concert

MOG Music hosts an annual concert dubbed New Wine Concert at the Royalhouse Chapel International (Oil Dome).
