The National Service Scheme (NSS) posting was released on Monday, August 31, 2020, for the 2020/21 service year.
According to the management of the National Service Scheme, a total of 86,478 graduates were posted to undertake national service at various institutions nationwide.
The NSS posting generated some interesting conversations on Twitter as people expressed their excitement and disappointed at the places they were posted to.
Amid all the various reactions to the postings, some people took the opportunity to share pieces of advice with the new NSS personnel, on what they need to do as they undertake their service.
The pieces of advice dished out on Twitter include financial tips, and other personal development tips.
Investment Professional, Desmond Bredu gave the new NSS personnel a very good financial advice.
He asked them to ignore people who will advice them to spend all their allowance because it is not enough.
“Start building the savings/investment attitude. Even if it’s GHS20 or GHS30 you can invest every month do it! It would go a long way!” Desmond Bredu said.

This tweep also advised new NSS personnel to start building their Curriculum vitae (CV) early enough and not wait till a month to completion of their service to put their CV together.
“Your CV should be ready and be dispatched ASAP,” he said.
