Most of us only find it necessary to give when we are in our comfort zone – not when we are fighting our own battle.
However, Chadwick Boseman has shown that we don’t need to be in a perfect life situation before we can be of help to others in their time of need.
When Chadwick Boseman was diagnosed of stage 3 Colon Cancer, he was also on the set of some of the high profile movies of his career.
It has been reported that his Black Panther movies were scheduled in-between surgeries and chemotherapy.
However, beyond working while fighting cancer, Chadwick was also providing support to children who were also fighting their own terminal illness.
He visited the St Jude Children Research Hospital.
Two years ago, which was two years after his own diagnosis, Chadwick visited the St. Jude campus and brought with him not only toys for our patients but also joy, courage and inspiration.
This is not a scripted scene in Black Panther.
This was real life actions by a real person who actually cared.
