APPOINTMENT OF INTERIM MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE(IMC) OF WIUC STUDENTS’ REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL(SRC)

In consultation with all relevant stake holders of Wisconsin International University College, Accra, Ghana, I wish to inform the entire student body of the appointment of some students to serve as members of the newly constituted Interim Management Committee(IMC) to steer the affairs of the SRC until substantive Executives are elected.

Terms of reference are to:

(1)Have the powers as elected Executives to manage the SRC until new Executives are elected.

(2)Ensure the conduct of SRC elections with in six(6) weeks of resumption of academic work.

(3)Ensure the completion of the constitutional amendment process began under the immediate past administration prior to the SRC elections.

The members have taken and subscribed to the oath of office of interim members of the Council administered by the dean of students.

The members and their representative positions within the IMC are as follows:

4.Esther Korleki Otu–(Main Campus-Business School) FINANCIAL SECRETARY /WEEKEND REP

5.Ali Abdullah Wahab Wadey-(Main Campus)SPECIAL ADVISOR TO IMC

6.Mohammed Kallon-(Main Campus-Law Faculty and International Students) MEMBER

7.Eunice Elinam Ahiaxonu-(City Campus) CITY CAMPUS REP

8.Adarkwah Stephen-(Kumasi Campus) KUMASI CAMPUS REP

9.Norbu Ebenaita-(Main Campus-SCOT) MEMBER

Their appointments take immediate effect.

I wish to congratulate the team on their appointments to steer the affairs of the SRC for 2020/2021 academic year until substantive Executives are elected.
