Mohammed Kudus scored his first goal for Ajax in a preseason friendly against Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, August 29, 2020.

Kudus made an immediate impact when he came on as a substitute for Traore in the 46th minute.

The 20-year-old started that attack which resulted in his goal in the 47th minute. He brilliantly placed the ball in the bottom right corner of the Frankfurt post, after receiving a great backheel pass from teammate Antony.

The goal scored by Kudus was Ajax’s second of the game, after Quincy Promes scored, just four minutes into the first half.

The game ended 2-1, with Frankfurt’s goal coming from Andre Silva.

Kudus and his teammates paid tribute to Chadwick Boseman, who died of colon cancer on Friday.

They celebrated the goal with the Wakanda Forever salute.

Kudus joined Ajax from FC Nordsjaelland on July 16, 2020, on a five-year deal for a reported fee of €9 million.

He played his first game for Ajax on August 18, 2020, in a preseason friendly against Wolfsbeger AC.

Kudus came on as a substitute in the second half of the game, and he went on to put up an impressive performance that excited fans of Ajax.

In that game, he started the move the resulted in Ajax’s second goal of the game. Ajax won the game by 2-0.
