
Ghana’s COVID-19 cases have increased to 44,118, after 169 new infections were recorded.
The Ghana Health Service confirmed this in an update on Saturday, August 29, 2020, indicating that the new cases were reported on August 25, 2020.
The number of active cases have dropped again to 1,267, after 335 more persons recovered from COVID-19 since the last update on August 26, 2020.
The total number of recoveries now stand at 42,581, with the death toll is still at 270.
The Ghana Health Service further indicated that 6 persons are in a critical condition, 3 are on ventilators, and 16 are in severe condition.
