COVID-19: Ghana’s Active Cases Now 1,664 With 2 New Deaths

Ghana has recorded 117 new COVID-19 cases, the Ghana Health Service has confirmed in its latest update on Monday, August 24, 2020.

The new cases have now increased the total case count to 43,662.

Two more persons have also died of COVID-19, taking the death toll to 263.

However, the total number of recovery/discharged cases have also increased to 41,695 after 163 more persons recovered the disease since the last update on August 23.

Meanwhile, the number of active cases have reduced to 1,664.

The Ghana Health Service further indicated that 6 persons are in a critical condition, 3 are on ventilators, and 16 are in severe condition.
