Barack Obama, the former President of the United States of America, has shared an interesting list of songs that he has been listening to during this summer.

A lot of the songs on his 2020 Summer Playlist are from artists who will be performing at the 2020 Democratic National Convention including Billie Eilish, Maggie Rogers, Common, John Legend, Leon Bridges, The Chicks, and Billy Porter.

Other notable musicians whose songs made it to Obama’s playlist include Beyoncé, J. Cole, Rihanna, Childish Gambino, Megan Thee Stallion and Frank Ocean.

African musicians were also featured. Shatta Wale, Burna Boy and Wizked also made it to Obama’s playlist.

Shatta Wale’s collaboration with Beyoncé and Major Lazer, Already, was part of the playlist.

Already is one of the songs on Beyoncé’s The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack album. She recently released Black Is King which is a visual companion to The Lion King: The Gift album.
