COVID-19: Ghana’s Active Cases Now 1,832 With 8 New Deaths

Ghana has recorded 147 new COVID-19 cases, the Ghana Health Service has confirmed in its latest update on Saturday, August 15, 2020.

The new cases have now increased the total case count to 42,210.

The update also indicated that 8 more persons have succumbed to the disease, taking the death toll to 231.

Meanwhile, the total number of recovery/discharged cases have also increased to 40,147, with the number of active cases currently at 1,832.

The Ghana Health Service further indicated that 5 persons are in a critical condition, 3 are on ventilators, and 16 are in severe condition.
