Trent Alexander-Arnold Wins Premier League Young Player Of The Season

Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has been named Premier League Young Player of the Season for the 2019/20 campaign.

The 21-year-old beat Manchester United trio Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood, Chelsea duo Mason Mount and Christian Pulisic, Jack Grealish and Dean Henderson for the Young Player award.

He finished second to Kevin De Bruyne in the race for the Playmaker award with 13 assists. He also recorded 14 clean sheets and scored 4 important goals for Liverpool this season as they went on to win their first Premier League title in 30 years.

Alexander-Arnold has also been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Year award.
