KNUST Warns Against Using Third Parties To Secure Accommodation

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has warned students and parents to stop using third parties to secure accommodation.

The warning came after the attention of the university and GUSSS Hostels Management was drawn to certain third parties describing themselves as agents and capable of securing accommodation for students.

The supposed agents have even gone ahead to advertise an Ecobank account for students to pay monies to.

“Management wishes to place on record that GUSSS-Hostels does not operate any such account; neither do they operate through mobile money,” a statement signed by Dr Daniel Norris Bekoe, the University Relations Officer of KNUST said.

“Parents or students of KNUST who attempt to secure accommodation through third parties do so at their own risk,” the statement added.
