The COVID-19 pandemic has already given us a sour taste of 2020.
Parties were canceled, events postponed or cancelled, travel suspended.
Whatever that made life fun was affected one way or the other.
However, in the United Kingdom, they are still trying to reclaim a bit of fun amidst all of it – though in a weirdly different kind of way.
The human to human transmission nature of COVID-19 infection has meant that even when people are allowed to gather at a place for an event, there must be social distance – where people are apart from each other by about 1 to 2 meters.
With that in mind, how then do you hold an offline music concert?
The United Kingdom has held its first socially distanced musician concert.
The concert, which was aptly called Platform Party, saw attendees in their own private mini platform area.
Each platform is 2 meters away from the next.
It is perhaps, showing the way forward as government and private citizens find ways of living with COVID-19.
Y’all are down for something like this at a musical concert in Ghana?
