The National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) is set to return this September after it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Primetime, the organisers of the competition, in May indicated that the 2020 edition of NSMQ will no longer take place in June – July as scheduled because of COVID-19.
Primtime has now announced that the popular SHS quiz competition will return on September 8, 2020.
The competition will begin with the preliminary stage which will end on September 18, and the subsequent stages of the competition will take place from September 28 to October 8, 2020.
The 2019 edition of the championship was won by St Augustines College. They beat defending champions St Peter’s SHS and 5-time champions Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School (PRESEC), Legon, to lift the trophy.
