Today marks 21 years since one of the greatest strikers of all time joined Arsenal Football Club.
Arsenal signed Thierry Henry from Juventus on August 3, 1999, for a reported fee of £11 million.
He is regarded as Arsenal’s greatest player, and also one of the best players in the history of the Premier League.
Henry was a very prolific striker for Arsenal, and he is the club’s all-time leading scorer with 228 goals in all competitions.
He won the Premier League Golden Boot a record four times, won two FA Cups and two Premier League titles with the club, including one during an unbeaten season dubbed The Invincibles.

He was named the PFA Players’ Player of the Year twice, the FWA Footballer of the Year three times, and was named in the PFA Team of the Year six consecutive times.
In 2003 and 2004, Henry was the runner-up for the FIFA World Player of the Year, and was runner-up for the Ballon d’Or in 2003.
He was also included in the FIFA FIFPro World XI once and the UEFA Team of the Year five times.

Since fans of Arsenal are celebrating the day they signed their greatest player, we thought it would be nice to relive some of the great goals he scored for the club in the Premier League.
