Call them haters or doubting Thomases but these were some major arguments some Ghanaians put their life on concerning Shatta Wale and Beyoncé
“The Beyoncé feature was a lie”

When Shatta Wale tweeted the track list which showed he was a feature on Beyoncé’s Lion King album, people did not believe it until they saw it for themselves on Beyoncé’s official website.
“The song won’t be nice”

Now when it was accepted, there were still people who felt Shatta Wale was going to ruin the song. They were so certain the song wouldn’t be nice and couldn’t wait so they’d troll him. ‘Already’ dropped and became an instant hit… worldwide.
“He lied about a video with Beyoncé”

When Shatta Wale mentioned he’d shot a video with Beyoncé, people laughed at him and said it wasn’t true. They barely paid attention. Months passed and now there’s a video the whole world is talking about as part of Beyoncé’s Black Is King movie.
“He didn’t even meet Beyoncé”

People weren’t satisfied so when they found out some artistes recorded with Beyoncé while Shatta Wale only sent his verse from Ghana, they teased him but then the official music video dropped and we saw Shatta Wale with Beyoncé. Apparently he flew out to meet her for the video shoot so… they met!
