Form Two Student Of Oyoko Methodist SHS Dies After Writing Last Paper

A form two gold track student of Oyoko Methodist Senior High School has died after writing her last paper of the semester exams on Thursday, July 30, 2020.

This was announced by the Ghana Education Service (GES) in a statement signed by its Head of Public Relations, Cassandra Twum Ampofo.

The student, Jennifer Naa Doku Balor, reported sick to the school nurse after writing her last paper, and while she was being attended to, she collapsed and was rushed to St Joseph Hospital.

“Jennifer, unfortunately, died on arrival at the emergency ward,” the statement read.

The GES, however, indicated that the cause of the death is yet to be revealed.

“Management of GES is waiting for the hospital authorities for the cause of death. Further details on the cause of death will be provided as soon as the report is received from the hospital.”
