#JusticeForNanabaa: Ghanaians Demand Justice For Lynched 90-Year-Old Woman

Ghanaians are calling for justice for Akua Denteh, a 90-year-old woman who was lyched at Kafaba in the East Gonja Municipality of the Savannah Region.

Akua Dentah was accused of witchcraft which led to her lynching by members of the community.

This act which led to the old lady’s death has been condemned by many Ghanaians including the President Akufo-Addo, former President John Dramani Mahama and his running mate Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, and other prominent Ghanaians.

A petition is being signed on social media to demand justice for Akua Denteh.

Aside from the petition that is being signed, Ghanaians are also using the hashtag #JusticeForNanabaa to condemn her lynching and call for justice for her death.

They are demanding for swift investigation and further actions to be taken to ensure that the perpetrators of the act are punished.
