COVID-19 does not seem to be going away anytime soon, as the number of cases keep going up daily all over the world.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, during his 14th address to the nation on COVID-19 on Sunday, 26, 2020, announced that the country’s total case count has gone up to 32,969, with the active cases at 3,307.
It is, however, important to note that a lot of people in Ghana have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic, as it has distorted the normal way of living. Some people have also lost their jobs and loved ones during this period.
This has resulted in depression and other mental health issues in many people.
To help such people overcome these issues, the Ghana Psychological Association has released a list of phone numbers that people can call to speak to Counselling and Clinical Psychologists.
The psychologists are ready to offer practical options to help people.
