Nigerian global sensation, Wizkid

The biggest shock I have had today is finding out that Wizkid has not had as many features with Ghanaian artistes as I thought. He’s practically in Ghana a lot of times, we have seen him hanging out with our celebrities and interacting on social media so it was easy to assume he’s got 100s of features.

The special Ghana-Naija relationship remember??

His few features with GH artistes always gave us unforgettable jams that were played constantly over the radio, in every club, social gathering and…everywhere!

From his endless features with R2Bees to his features with Ghanaians living abroad, these are Wizkid’s hottest features with GH artistes!

Slow Down – R2Bees

An R2Bees and Wizkid collaboration is just pure vibes. This song was a single off the music duo’s Refuse To Be Broke: Da Revolution 2 project and it topped charts for the longest time and received music awards nominations for best collaboration in 2013.

Supa – R2Bees

Two years later, the dynamic combo gave us another chart-topper, Tonight. Tonight easily became another hit song in Ghana and yes, years after it dropped in 2016, we still can’t get enough of it.

Tonight – R2Bees

Can you tell the trend here? R2Bees and Wizkid obviously have some really cool chemistry because how is every collaboration such a vibe?!

Daddy Yo ft Efya

This time, Wizkid dropped his own single and featured Efya. People didn’t really like it in the beginning but look at us, before the pandemic, when this song comes on, the dance moves jump out!!

Ojuelegba remix ft Sarkodie

Sarkodie and Wizkid’s only collaboration, this is the remix for Wizkid’s very spiritual Ojuelegba also known as a Naija anthem because it’s sooo good and everyone knows it.

Tokyo – King Promise

One of the best videos to have dropped in 2018. Wizkid and King Promise came through with their vocals and gave Ghana one of the hottest and most popular songs in 2018.

I like It – Kojo Funds

Yes, Kojo Funds in UK based but y’all know how we love to claim our brothers and sisters abroad! We love Kojo Funds and this song where he featured Wizkid has definitely been playing all over our airwaves ever since it dropped last year.
