Bôhten, an African-inspired and eco-friendly eyewear brand, has announced that it has received a strategic investment from Mizizi Africa Consumer Holdings (MACH).
MACH is a house of African-inspired lifestyle brands that serve consumers across the world. It provides patient, long-term capital, management support and a shared pool of resources to young, African-inspired challenger brands
The funding will support Bôhten’s investments in design, production, distribution, and marketing on its way to becoming a global leader in the eyewear industry.
Bôhten was founded with a mission to provide designer quality prescription eyewear and sunglasses produced sustainably in Africa. The Company serves consumers primarily through their e-commerce platform and has retail relationships in North America, Europe and West Africa.
