Christopher, the brother of Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier, was shot dead on Monday morning [July 13, 2020] in Toulouse, France.
According to Europe 1, Christopher, 26, was fatally shot and was hit in the abdomen by a suspect.
He was confirmed dead after he was taken to the Toulouse University Hospital.
The incident is believed to have happened outside of a nightclub in the early hours of Monday morning.
It is also reported the suspect is on the run and the police have, however, started an investigation into the incident.
Christopher was also a professional footballer like his brother, Serge, and they both started their careers at Lens.
