The issue of rape is a very serious matter that should never be taken lightly.
Most important, as victims often choose not to come forward for fear of being stigmatized, it is never ok to blame the victim of rape.
In a Television interview, Counselor Lutterodt suggested that rape victims enjoy being raped.
Since the video of his comment went online. Many have condemned his comments.
This includes the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.
“Rape and violence against women is not something we should joke or toy with,” he tweeted.
“We need to develop a more robust environment for protecting our wives, daughters, sisters and mothers,” he added.
