Ghana’s COVID-19 cases have gone up again after the Ghana Health Service confirmed 641 new cases.
The new cases have now taken the total case count to 23,463.
Over 1,400 new cases have been recorded in the last two updates from the Ghana Health Service.
According to the Ghana Health Service, the new cases were recorded in 52 districts across 8 regions.
The total number of recoveries have also increased to 18,622, while the death toll still remains at 129.
The Ghana Health Service also indicated that of the confirmed cases, 9,403 were detected thought routine surveillance whilst the other 14,060 were detected from contact tracing.
322,910 have been conducted with a majority being conducted through contact tracing.
