The war of words between President Akufo Addo and the Auditor General Daniel Domelevo hasn’t stopped.
Last week the President asked the Auditor general to embark on his accumulated leave.
Yesterday, Daniel issued a worded letter basically telling the president that he was wrong for telling him to go on a 123-day accumulated leave.
He offered to go on his 2020 44-day leave, which he was due each year since he deemed that he had forfeited his previous year’s leave.
Just this morning, the Secretary to the President Nana Bediatuo Asante also replied Daniel’s letter with a more worded letter of his own.
In that he blamed Daniel for misinterpreting the law for which he was forgiven because he was not a lawyer.
Asante also gave Daniel a wash down for making his letter public when the President has not received his letter yet.
Yesterday, we told y’all that the ball was in the Preisdent’s court.
Well now, it is the Auditor General’s chance to respond.
