The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) has asked some of its final year students to go back to school on June 15.
This follows President Akufo Addo’s directive to schools to reopen to allow only final year students to write their exam.
As a result UPSA has asked some of its student to return to school.
Those who are to return to school are those who have had challenges with the online examination.
“The University will officially open to all registered final year students who could not participate in the Take-Home-Examination (THE) on Monday June 12, 2020 to complete the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year,” a UPSA statement said.
Also, final year foreign students with similar problems are to send their passport numbers to the Dean of the Centre for International Education and Collaboration via email at email@example.com.
This is because the Government of Ghana is working out a mechanism where those students would be allowed back into the country to complete their exam though they would under go a 14-day mandatory quarantine.
The university will remain closed to all others.
