Protests have entered the 10th day as black people and allies of the black community fight for justice after the murder of George Floyd by white police officers.

In Ghana, the police warned against any planned demonstration in support of the George Floyd protests happening in the United States of America and other parts of the world.

However, Richard Frimpong, a 21-year-old student of the University of Ghana, still felt he had to show his support to the Black Lives Matter movement.

The Level 100 Bachelor of Arts student staged his one-man solo protest match to throw more light on racism and how it has been used on disadvantaged black and minority communities.

“I feel like we are one and due to that we need to hold or support our own”, Richard told Kuulpeeps.com about his reason of starting his solo BLM protest.

“I hope my protest reaches a good level whereby the people will find a space in their heart to stop what they are doing so we all become one,” he said.

“We are all humans and therefore we will face judgment so I urge everyone to be kind and open up with everyone,” Richard explained.

Black Lives Matter is an international human rights movement, originating in the African-American community, that campaigns against violence and systemic racism towards black people.
