Jordan Ayew escaped a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) review for a possible red card in a Premier League game between Crystal Palace and Burnley on Monday night [June 29, 2020].

Crystal Palace lost 1-0 to Burnley, but an incident in which Jordan Ayew was involved is what a lot of football fans are talking about.

Ayew hit the face of Burnley’s Josh Brownhill but he was cleared by VAR after a lengthy review of his action.

However, a lot of football fans think Jordan Ayew should have been sent off and they also called out the referee for a poor decision.

Others also slammed Ayew, who is Crystal Palace’s top goalscorer this season, for his action as they believe that he intentionally hit the face of the Burnley player.
