President Akufo Addo, in an effort to encourage Ghanaians to participate in the voter registration exercise, addressed the country.
This comes after much political talks both for and against the new voter register.
The president made the case for eligible Ghanaians to participate in the process as it forms part of the country’s democratic traditions.
“If you aid the registration of an ineligible person, and you’re caught, you will face the full rigors of the law,” the President added warned.
