The Ghana Water Company Limited has announced that it would stop the supply of water for free.
This comes as the government’s intervention is set to run out at the end of the month of June.
When the first set of coronavirus cases were confirmed in the country, President Akufo Addo announced that water would be supplied for free.
This was to encourage people to maintain all the personal hygiene requirements needed to curb the spread of the virus.
Customers would be charged for the water consumed in the month of July.
