Blitz The Ambassador Reveals He Played A Role In Beyoncé’s “Black Is King”

Samuel "Blitz The Ambassador" is a Ghanaian hip-hop artist, filmmaker, and visual artist based in Brooklyn, NY.

Ghanaian filmmaker, Samuel “Blitz The Ambassador” Bazawule, has revealed that he contributed to the production of Beyoncé’s upcoming visual album titled Black Is King.

A trailer of the film was released on Saturday night [June 27, 2020] and it got a lot of people excited.

According to reports, Black Is King, which is directed and executively produced by Beyoncé, is based on her album “The Lion King: The Gift,” which was released last year.

Black Is King will premiere globally on Disney Plus on July 31, 2020.

Blitz, who is excited about the project, took to Twitter to announce that he contributed to the production of the film.

“The word is finally out. BLACK IS KING. So proud to have worked with QUEEN BEYONCÉ on this. So honoured to contribute visually to this moment, when the world is in need of beauty and affirmation. Can’t wait,” he wrote.

Blitz is known for his award-winning movie The Burial Of Kojo. He is also a hip-hop artist and visual artist.
