Here Is Why Some iPhone Users Can't Access The Twitter Audio Feature

Yesterday the Timeline had something to talk about which was different from the normal.

Twitter released its audio feature and it got everyone talking, well not everyone because Android users don’t have the feature. The feature is only available to iOS users.

However some iOS users complained they still can’t access the feature even after running an update.

Well here’s why.

In Twitter’s blog post about their new feature written by Maya Patterson and Rémy Bourgoin. The post reveals the real intent of the audio feature and why few iOS users have the feature.

“Creating voice Tweets will be available to a limited group of people on Twitter for iOS to start but in the coming weeks everyone on iOS should be able to Tweet with their voice. Everyone will be able to see (hear) them and reply.”

If you don’t have it yet, don’t panic your phone is not broken. The feature is in testing mode and Twitter made it public to a limited number of users to test the efficacy of the feature before running it all out.

So whether it’s #storytime, a journalist sharing breaking news, or a first-hand account from a protest, we hope voice Tweeting gives you the ability to share your perspectives quickly and easily with your voice.
