Nigerians are true fans when it comes to Reality TV shows in the country. These reality TV shows are known to engage the audience and are filled with suspense, drama, anticipation and competition. Not to talk of eviction of contestants which comes with mixed feelings.
Many of these shows are mostly sponsored by reputable organizations in order to advertise and market their brands. The exciting part is that winners are given a whopping amount of money and other gift items worth millions of naira.
It’s so unfortunate that the following reality TV shows stopped airing in Nigeria.
1. Who wants to be a Millionaire?
Remember Frank Edoho and the way he thrills us with his voice when asking questions? Participants on this show are being tested for their smartness, intelligence and current affairs. A total of 15 questions will be asked one after the other as soon as there’s a fastest finger winner on the “hot” seat. You can only proceed to the next round of question if you answer the previous question correctly. The grand prize was 10,000,000 Naira if all 15 questions were answered correctly.
