Ghana’s Minister for Health, Kwaku Agyeman Manu has tested positive for coronavirus, Citi News reports.
The reports suggests that the Minister has been receiving treatment at the University of Ghana Medical Centre in Accra over the past week.
The report further indicated that the Minister was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, and is “in a stable condition”.
Kwaku Agyeman Manu who announced Ghana’s first COVID-19 case in a night broadcast in March 2020, would be the first high profile government official to have confirmed positive COVID-19.
