The news of a whitish substance suspected to be cocaine which allegedly went missing in the custody of the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has got some Ghanaians on social media talking.

Reports suggest that the substance weighed over 100 grams.

According to a report by Citi News, the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) confirmed that the incident occurred on Sunday, June 7, 2020, at Aflao in the Volta Region.

After the news broke, some Ghanaians took to social media to recount how a similar incident happened in 2008, when some cartons of cocaine in the custody of the Narcotics section of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), of the Police Headquarters in Accra, reportedly went missing.
