The Ghana Meteorological Agency has warned of a rainstorm which is expected to affect portions of the eastern and coastal areas of the country today, Tuesday, June 9, 2020.
This announcement follows hours of rains that have flooded some parts of Accra. The rains started during the late hours of Monday, June 8, 2020.
According to a statement from the Meteorological Agency, the rainstorm will affect places along coast and north of the coast with moderate thunderstorm between 0230UTC and 0630UTC.
Areas that will be affected include Ada, Tema, Ashaiman, Accra, Kasoa, Winneba, Mankessim, Axim, Agona Swedru, Bawjiase, Dodowa, Nsawam, Asamankese, Akasti.
