Arsenal football club is ready to pay €50m to acquire Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey, ESPN reports.
According to ESPN, Partey is considered to be one of Arsenal’s main priorities during the summer transfer window.
Arsenal are ready to go all out to get the Atletico player, as they believe he could help improve their squad.
Partey Agrees personal terms with Arsenal
On June 6 2020, Football Made In Ghana reported that Thomas Partey has agreed to personal terms with Arsenal.
The report stated that Arsenal now believe they have won the race for Partey’s signature, with ‘almost every detail of the move’ already agreed.
However, Arsenal still need to agree on a fee with Atlético Madrid, who are holding out for the full payment of Partey’s £44.5 million release clause.
Partey has also been linked to some of Europes biggest clubs including Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG.
