A revelation by Kumasi Asante Kotoko legend, Stephen Oduro about Bishop Daniel Obinim has generated some hilarious reactions on Twitter.
Stephen Oduro in an interview revealed that Obinim was a very talented footballer during their youthful days.
Due to how good Obinim was as a footballer, Stephen Oduro further disclosed that he always wanted to be a part of Obinim’s team.
“Obinim was a better player than I was so anytime we play I wanted to be part of his team else I won’t play because if I go the opposite side they will score us,” he said.
After seeing the story, some people took to Twitter to share their views on this.
This tweet, for instance, indicated that if Obinim had continued playing football, he would have eventually played for Ghana and helped the country win the World Cup.
Another tweet indicated that he would have been the captain of the Black Stars.
This tweep, however, took the conversation more serious and stated that the poor systems in Ghana is the reason why a lot of talented young people are not able to realize their dreams.
Some were just excited by Obinim’s transformation from a footballer to an Angel.
