There is so much happening in the world right now that it’s not unthinkable that you might forget to take care of yourself. However, this is not a great time to just be going with the flow. Here are some things that you should do before bed today, so that you wake up feeling more positive about your day tomorrow.

Whatever is stressing you out; whether it’s stuff with school or work. Or even just being idle indoors for long periods of time, you should find someone that you can talk to. Internalizing your stress just allows those feelings of unease to build up.

Chill Out

Before you go to bed is “You Time.” And you shouldn’t spend it forcing yourself to do things that you don’t want to. Instead, put on some episodes of your favourite show and just pass the time in that way. You could also just listen to some music or read something.

I am very certain that the only reason someone would not take a shower before bed is if they were being lazy. Because, honestly, shower right before bed feel amazing and they definitely make the sleep hit differently.

You know it actually takes energy to process the food that you eat, right? If you keep eating too late, you don’t give your stomach the rest that it may need. This is one of the reasons that you might sleep for 7 or 8 hours but still wake up feeling inexplicably tired.
