Last night, a group of Ghanaians, joined a vigil to honor the life of George Floyd and support the Black Lives Matter movement who are protesting in the United States of America.
George Floyd is the African American who was tragically murdered by police officers after a shop attendant claimed he used a fake $ 20 bill to purchase an item.
The Ghanaian government last week held a memorial service for George Floyd at the W.E.B Dubois Centre, however, the police cautioned against any planned protest for George Floyd due to the coronavirus restrictions on social gathering.
However, the Economic Fighters League (EFL) led by Ernesto Yeboah, went ahead to hold a vigil.
The vigil was crushed by the police and some military officers. Here are some videos and photos from the night.
The leader of the EFL, Ernesto Yeboah was arrested at the vigil yesterday.
