Ghana’s COVID-19 Cases Now 9,462 With 44 Deaths

Ghana’s coronavirus cases have increased to 9,462, the Ghana Health Service has confirmed in its latest update on June 6, 2020.

This increase comes after 294 infections were recorded since the last update on June 5, 2020.

The total recovery cases have also increased after 90 more patients recovered from the disease. The total recoveries now stand at 3,547.

Meanwhile, two more patients have succumbed to the disease, taking the death toll to 44.

Ghana’s active cases, however, currently stand at 5,871.

COVID-19 Update by the Ghana Health Service

The Greater Accra Region still leads with 6,282 cases, Ashanti Region is second with 1,645 cases, Western Region – 580, Central Region – 478, Eastern Region – 163, Volta Region – 102, Western North Region – 74, Upper East Region – 42, Northern Region – 37, Oti Region – 26, Upper West Region – 22, Bono East Region – 7, North East Region – 2, Savannah – 1, Bono Region – 1.

Ahafo is now the only region with no coronavirus case.
