Tony Yeboah played most of his professional football in Germany where he made a name for himself as one of the best strikers in the history of the German top-flight league.
Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp described Tony Yeboah as one of the greatest strikers who played in Germany apart from Gerd Müller. He also acknowledged Yeboah’s big impact on the German society.
Tony Yeboah played for three German clubs: 1. FC Saarbrücken, Eintracht Frankfurt and and Hamburger SV during the 1990s.
However, he is most known for his exploits at Eintracht Frankfurt where he won the Bundesliga golden boot on two occasions in 1993 and 1994.
He scored 68 out of his 96 goals in the German top flight for Eintracht.
