Schools Remain Closed As Federal Government Relaxes Restrictions On Churches And Mosques.

 The Federal Government has said that schools would remain closed “for now”.

The  Personal Assistant on New Media to the President, Bashir Ahmad made this known on Monday 1st June 2020.

However,  the ban placed on religious gatherings as part of measures to curtail the spread of COVID-19 has been lifted nationwide in the country.

This was announced by Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID – 19, Boss Mustapha, during the daily briefing of the panel .

He said that  the gathering of people in church or mosques should not be more than 20 people. There’s also the mandatory use of non -medical face masks in public places.

The relaxation will commence from Tuesday, 2nd June, 2020
