Rape and Violence are one of the security issues affecting people especially females in Nigeria.

This has made celebrities as well as many supporters to voice out against the constant raping and killing of female children via their various social media handles.

The online protest intensified after a 100-level-student of microbiology at the University of Benin city was raped, battered and killed in one of The Redeemed Christian Church of God parishes in Edo, Nigeria.

Her death was considered tragic and untimely as the twenty-two years old had the dream of becoming a microbiologist from her course of study.

On Tuesday the celebrities continued the online protest and shared their sentiments about the unfortunate incident.
