Herman Suede is one of the few Ghanaian artistes to use their music as a tool to fight against racism around the world.
After the assault and murder of George Floyd, there have been various protests across the United States and around the World seeking justice for George Floyd and also fighting against racism in general.
Black Lives Matter is an international human rights movement, originating in the African-American community, that campaigns against violence and systemic racism towards black people.
In a post on Twitter Herman Suede wrote; “Can’t even scroll through any one of my social medias without seeing the unnecessary suffering my innocent brothers and sisters out there been going through for centuries now…Wth chale!! 2020 not 1420…LEAVE RACISM IN THE PAST, WE ARE HUMAN JUST LIKE YOU!!
